Winter date night. Ahhh, you curious conundrum. How can you dress for romance when you feel like your nose is about to freeze off your face? Well, take it from this stylist, it's easy! How, you ask? Use feminine details in your look to create a sensual appearance without exposing a lot of skin.

This crop top from Tobi was perfect for a romantic date night. The vibrant red shade, bell sleeves, and off the shoulder neckline are gorgeously feminine while being appropriate for chilly temps. The off-the-shoulder flounce is exactly the kind of simple detail that adds maximum romance. Best part, I didn't have to wear a bra because of it (oh happy day!). I paired the top with high-waisted, wide leg sailor pants in a deep navy and a simple black pointy-toe pump. Using the crop top and high-waisted pant to bring attention to my waist, I created an hourglass appearance without skin tight pieces (honestly, this was a super comfortable outfit). To add graphic detail, I threw on a white wool peacoat with crisp black piping. I love how the buttons of the coat reflect the rows of gold buttons on the pants.  To finish off the look (and the night), just add scarves, hats, and wine. Enjoy!
